For translators and agencies
PDF to translation-ready DOCX, clean enough for your CAT tool.
Upload the client's PDF or scan. Get a Word file with real text, sentences that aren't split by line breaks, styles instead of manual spacing, and the original layout kept, ready for Trados, memoQ or Phrase.

What a decode looks like
Synthetic example. Every note points at the exact line it is about.
- Patient information leaflet (scanned, two columns)
- Read all of this leaflet carefully before you start
- taking this medicine because it contains important
- information for you.
- Keep this leaflet. You may need to read it again.
Why this is hard
Pre-processing eats the margin
Re-typing or cleaning a converted PDF can take as long as translating it, and clients rarely pay for it separately.
Broken segments, wrong word counts
Hard line breaks, text boxes and stray tags split sentences in the CAT tool, which spoils matches and quotes.
Scans in other scripts
Cyrillic or Greek scans often come out with look-alike Latin letters that the translation memory never matches.
What you get
- Real text with line breaks inside sentences removed, so segments stay whole
- Word styles for headings and lists instead of manual spacing
- Tables as Word tables, text boxes kept to a minimum
- Batch upload and a data processing agreement on business plans
What it is not
A conversion for translation work, not a translation. Layout is kept as closely as possible; very complex designs may still need a final check after translation.

Questions
Which CAT tools does it work with?
The output is a standard .docx, so it opens in Trados, memoQ, Phrase, Wordfast, OmegaT and others. We're testing demand, so tell us on the waitlist which tool you use.
Why not just ask ChatGPT?
A chatbot can extract text, but it won't give you a styled .docx with whole segments and the layout kept. What we're testing is a converter built for translation work, with page-by-page checks and files deleted within 24 hours unless you save them.
Is client confidentiality covered?
Files are deleted within 24 hours unless you save them, they are never used for training, and business plans would include a data processing agreement.
